Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using LiveHi. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any part of the LiveHi service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LiveHi governing your access to the LiveHi iOS application, the web application at livehi.net/app, and all related services. By using the Service you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use LiveHi. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the Service with parental consent. We reserve the right to terminate accounts belonging to users under 13.
3. Subscriptions, Purchases & Auto-Renewal
LiveHi offers the following plans:
- Free Trial: 5 minutes, available to new Sign in with Apple / Google users.
- Starter Pack: One-time purchase — 120 minutes, $1.99.
- Pro Monthly: Auto-renewable subscription — unlimited minutes, $6.99/month.
- Pro Annual: Auto-renewable subscription — unlimited minutes, $59.99/year.
- Hour Pack: Add-on one-time purchase — permanent credits, never expire.
Auto-Renewal: Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time after purchase. Cancellation takes effect immediately — your account is downgraded to the Starter tier and any unused monthly credits are converted to permanent pack credits.
iOS Payments: All iOS purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. LiveHi does not process or store payment card information for iOS purchases. iOS purchases are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Refunds (iOS): All purchases through the iOS App are processed by Apple. To request a refund, contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.
4. Credits and Usage
Plan Credits: Included with Starter or Pro plans; reset at the start of each billing period. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
Pack Credits: Purchased via Hour Pack. Permanent — never expire, never reset, unaffected by plan changes or cancellations.
Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts.
5. Free Trial
A 5-minute free trial is available to new users who sign up via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Only one trial per person, per Apple ID, and per Google account. Email-registered accounts are not eligible. After the trial expires, a plan or credit purchase is required to continue.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use LiveHi to process illegal, threatening, or abusive content; to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; to circumvent usage limits or billing controls; or to create multiple accounts to abuse the free trial.
7. Translation Accuracy Disclaimer
LiveHi uses AI-powered speech recognition. Translations may contain errors. Do not rely on LiveHi for medical, legal, safety-critical, or life-affecting communications. LiveHi accepts no liability for consequences arising from translation errors.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. Audio data is not stored after processing. LiveHi uses end-to-end encryption for all data transmission.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, design, and content, is owned by or licensed to LiveHi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create through the translation feature. LiveHi does not claim ownership of your translated content.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. LiveHi does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVEHI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. LiveHi's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months or USD $10.00.
12. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app's My Account settings. Deletion is permanent and forfeits all unused credits without refund. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. For iOS subscriptions, cancel separately through Apple ID Account Settings.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Santa Clara County, California. EU/EEA consumers retain their mandatory statutory rights under applicable EU law.
14. Apple-Specific Terms (EULA)
Required disclosure per Apple App Store Guidelines.
- Acknowledgment: These Terms are concluded solely between you and LiveHi, not with Apple, Inc. LiveHi, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of License: A non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions Usage Rules.
- Maintenance & Support: LiveHi is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services.
- Warranty: In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Product Claims: LiveHi, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability and consumer protection claims.
- Intellectual Property: In the event of any third-party IP infringement claim, LiveHi, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge.
- Legal Compliance: You represent that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government prohibited or restricted party list.
- Third-Party Beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Subscription Management: You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refund is provided for the current subscription period upon cancellation.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
